The Sweet Springs Hotel & Resort was purchased by visionary preservationist Ashby Berkley in November of 2015. His goal is to make the Sweet Springs Resort Park an operating business for the community, the local region, the state & the country.
The steps needed to revitalize the Old Sweet are numerous! Check out our Projects page to follow the progress. First steps will be focused on the rehabilitation of the exterior and the speed of the progress will depend on funding secured & your generous donations!
The restoration of the Old Sweet will require funds be received from all possible sources - including donations and in-kind gifts and/or volunteer work. Many grants require matching funds and the projects are immense! All donations are tax deductible under IRC Section 170.
Currently we operate strictly on Grants and Donations from people like yourself. Please donate through:

In the future we will have outside work days at the Old Sweet to assist with maintenance of these beautiful grounds. Stay tuned for dates! At this time we are in the demolition and construction phase and are needing bids for the first projects to be completed. Click for details!
